Running isn’t about how far you go but how far you’ve come.
Maybe that’s the runner’s bug for some — knowing that every distance run could turn out different than expected, knowing you will have to adapt and adjust, remember how you overcame or succumbed to a previous similiar situation, and figure out a way to get past it.
At the Austin Expo, Dick Beardsley said it was head. I saw A sign on the run that it is heart. I say it is soul.
