Staying local this weekend but still at the races – the Quakertown 10-miler  - about 15 miles from home, and then the fourth installment of the Pagoda Pacer’s Shiver by the River 5K/10K series at Mt. Penn in Reading. Later we went to the awards ceremony at a local hall and celebrated St. Patty’s day early with lots of beer, food, more beer and music by the Martin Family Band – five very talented Irish-American kids, ages 5 to 17, and their parents who do it all  - play about four instruments each and specialize in Celtic Music and Irish step dancing.
