Hi Bart,

Awesome article about your 800's!

I'm a runner from the Netherlands and preparing for my first Marathon.
I heard about your 800s and thought it would be a good exercise in my raining program.

Yesterday I started with the first 4 x 800's. And now I'm confused because my heartrate in the slower parts is only going down with 8-9% before I start with an another 800.

Wouldn't it be better to jog until my heartrate is far more down?

Please have a look at my weblog, http://ronsrace.nl/2009/01/yasso-in-praktijk/ . It's in Dutch but there's a Translate button on the right.

thx a lot Bart, hope to hear from you!

Regards,

Ron (www.ronsrace.nl)

Nikki,

Barbados the plan is to run the full.
Dallas I will be selling books at the expo and on race day maybe ride the press truck.

Book 2 or the sequel should be done by next summer.

Dude, Bart, Bradley...
What race will you be running next? Barbados Half or Full? Dallas? I'm going to stalk you...but in a good way!

Also, we want to know when your sequel to "My Life On The Run" is coming out.

Bart,

I couldn't put the book down. Really enjoyed learning about your life and found so many similarities with my own. Running is such a constant in my life. I have found peace and turmoil ............ it is ALWAYS there for me.. I have not deviled into any of the amazing trips you have but I thoroughly enjoyed reading/living thru you. I was at the edge of my seat in yours. You made it sound so doable and enjoyable. Thank you so much for your creative spirit and for expressing yourself in this book. Enjoy your time in California. All my running girls would not do that run for fear of the watch calculating a bad time so it looks like I WILL have to do that one on my own. Me and the forest! Can't wait!

Enjoyed meeting you in Boston and thanks again for the experience!

Bart,

I got the book and couldn't wait to read it. I thought it was going to be good but was even better then I thought. I couldn't put it down. I found it very enlightening and inspiring. It also made me choke up a couple times and laugh out loud others.
I loved the book!!!! It is a must read for any runner.
